Joining communities in food & nutrition response, our mission is to serve in a loving, equitable, God-centered way that brings glory to the Creator, advances the cause of Christ, and renews health in the people and lands that sustain them.
With neither the time nor money to spend purchasing and preparing healthy food, low-income families are often left with the cheapest, most convenient and most unhealthy option.
Access to affordable, nutritious, sustainable, local and seasonal food is a fundamental determinant of public health and plays a pivotal role in preventing diet-related diseases. In fact, communities that do not have access to affordable, healthy food options are significantly more likely to suffer from diet-related non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes and cancer, disparities which they have fewer resources to treat.

“I have called you back from the ends of the earth, saying, ‘You are my servant.’ For I have chosen you and will not throw you away. Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” Isaiah 41:9-10
