Christ's love for us + inspired love in action = good fruit

Bearing fruit with Christ's love,

"I always thank my God when I pray for you, Philemon, because I keep hearing about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all of God’s people. And I am praying that you will put into action the generosity that comes from your faith as you understand and experience all the good things we have in Christ. Your love has given me much joy and comfort, my brother, for your kindness has often refreshed the hearts of God’s people."  |  Philemon 1:4-7

"Bear fruit in keeping with repentance."  |  Matthew 3:8

"for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord."  |  Ephesians 5:8-10

"For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice. But  the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace."  |  James 3:16-18

"A new commandment I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you also must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.”  |  John 13:34-35

"I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit."  |  John 15: 1-2

"Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing."  |  John 15:4-5

"By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples."  |  John 15:8

“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends."  |  John 15:12-13

"You  did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. These things I command you, so that you will love one another."  |  John 15:16-17

working as one in community with Christ's love

I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me.

    John 17:22-23 NLT

And let our people learn to devote themselves to good works, so as to help cases of urgent need, and not be unfruitful.

    Titus 3:14 English Standard Version

"And let our people learn to devote themselves to good works, so as to help cases of urgent need, and not be unfruitful. Titus 3:14 English Standard Version
