MyGoodness in Health represents healthy choices and supportive development in community-engaged lifestyle medicine (CELM) in partnership between the Allendale County Hospital and The Good Fruit Foundation through evidence-based frameworks that use lifestyle medicine to promote health equity, integrating community and health care together in preventing and treating chronic disease. It uses a collaborative approach that includes community  engagement, cultural competency, and multilevel strategies to reach our underserved, addressing health disparities. Key components include nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and other non-drug modalities delivered in a way that is loving, accessible and relevant to our local community.

The NOURISH Partnership between Golden Harvest Food Bank, The Good Fruit Foundation, and Allendale County Hospital Outpatient Pharmacy works to address food insecurity in Allendale County, especially among older adults by providing expanded access to fresh produce and shelf-stable, nutritious foods. This collaboration enhances community health initiatives, and expands capacity to serve, supporting long-term health and wellness in Food is Medicine and Food is Health engagement. Through the GraceHub, we're preparing a way to support our critical, resource-constrained local health care systems by helping address health-related social needs through an organized, community care hub model (CCH), centralizing administrative functions like contracting and billing, which allows our local CBOs to focus on providing community-engaged lifestyle medicine services such as food assistance while also supporting resource constraints in our local health systems. This development aims to improve health outcomes by coordinating health and social care, reducing costs, and making it easier for our rural community members to access the resources they need while also supporting our vital health care networks.

 Serving as the backbone organization to our local health coalition (Allendale County HEALing Partners), The Good Fruit Foundation works as the accountable central entity that helps support the coalition coordinator in collective impact initiatives, anchoring a level of excellence in project management, data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and communication. We help provide the necessary infrastructure for community coalition partners with different specialties to work together  towards a common HEAL agenda (Healthy Eating, Active Living), ensuring strategic coherence and translating  shared goals into actionable activities for long term sustainable impact in Allendale County, South Carolina.
