MyGoodness in Health represents healthy choices and supportive development in community-engaged lifestyle medicine (CELM) in partnership between the Allendale County Hospital and The Good Fruit Foundation through evidence-based frameworks that use lifestyle medicine to promote health equity, integrating community and health care together in preventing and treating chronic disease. It uses a collaborative approach that includes community engagement, cultural competency, and multilevel strategies to reach our underserved, addressing health disparities. Key components include nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and other non-drug modalities delivered in a way that is loving, accessible and relevant to our local community.
